How we make money

Everything on Cash Balancer is free to read and use: the guides, the free debt calculator, and the Cash Balancer app. The app has no ads and never asks for your bank login.

Partner links

Some of the companies we write about — banks, credit card issuers, credit score services, cash advance apps, lenders and buy now, pay later providers — run partner (affiliate) programs. If you click one of our links to them and open an account or sign up, that company may pay us a fee. You never pay more because you used our link.

When a page contains a paid partner link, we say so at the top of the page, and the link is marked for search engines as sponsored.

What payment doesn't change

  • Companies can't pay to be ranked, rated or reviewed, or to change what we write.
  • We include companies that don't pay us when they're the better choice for you.
  • We never sell, rent or share your personal or financial data.

Other relationships

The founder of Cash Balancer is an employee of Cleo, which appears in our paycheck advance app ranking. Cash Balancer may also receive compensation from companies for articles and posts; when a company pays for an article, the article says so.

Not financial advice

Our content is general education, not personal financial advice. Rates, fees and terms change often — check the company's current terms before you sign up.
