By downloading, installing, or using Cash Balancer ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

Cash Balancer is a personal budgeting and financial tracking application. The App allows you to manually enter income, expenses, and debt information, set budgets, capture receipts and paychecks using your device camera, and access educational financial content. All data is stored locally on your device. The App does not connect to bank accounts, financial institutions, or any external data sources.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Cash Balancer. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users between 16 and 17 should have a parent or guardian review these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when entering financial data
• Use the App for lawful personal budgeting purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Take responsibility for the security of your device and the data stored within the App

5. Financial Information Disclaimer

Cash Balancer is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. The App does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, tax guidance, or professional financial services. Any calculations, projections, or educational content within the App are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial advice. Always consult a qualified financial professional for decisions regarding your finances.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Cash Balancer — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the exclusive property of Cash Balancer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information. In summary: your financial data is stored locally on your device. Your email and password are securely managed by Firebase Authentication for login purposes only. We do not collect, transmit, or store your financial information on any servers.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cash Balancer and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all data stored within it. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App and on our website at cashbalancer.com/terms. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
